Morocco strengthened its position as a leading global destination for Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions (MICE) through a strategic roadshow held across Chennai, Hyderabad, and Bengaluru. The initiative, led by the Moroccan National Tourism Office, aimed to deepen partnerships with India’s travel trade and highlight Morocco’s growing capabilities in business and experiential tourism.
The multi-city engagement brought together over 80 travel professionals to showcase Morocco’s modern convention centres, luxury hospitality, and large-scale event infrastructure in key cities such as Marrakech, Casablanca, and Rabat. With more than 300,000 hotel rooms and world-class venues, Morocco demonstrated its readiness to host large Indian corporate groups and incentive events.
The roadshow also emphasised seamless travel experiences for Indian visitors, supported by the Access Maroc e-visa platform, faster visa processing, and Indian-friendly services, including Hindi-speaking hospitality teams and curated culinary offerings.
Morocco has witnessed strong growth in Indian arrivals, recording over 53,000 visitors in 2025 and targeting around 70,000 travellers in 2026. Beyond corporate travel, the destination is gaining popularity for luxury holidays, destination weddings, and film tourism, reinforcing its appeal among Indian travellers and event planners.
