The Fifa Mountains,or as they are called "Neighbor of the Moon", are distinguished by their enchanting view, at an altitude of more than 1,800 km above sea level. They are a series of mountains wrapped around one another, with peaks covered with green, including: Al-Lagha, Al-Kadrah, Baqat Al-Washl, Al-Surrah, Qardah, and Al-Sama'. The highest one is Al-Absiyya summit. The Fifa Mountains are about 100 km from the city of Jazan, and the climate there is moderately characterized most of the year. In winter, it tends to be cold in the high mountains, with a temperature of approximately 19-29 degrees Celsius. The Fifa Mountains are famous for agriculture, and for the diversity of its seasonal crops, such as: grains, fruits, vegetables, aromatic plants, and others. Perhaps one of the most famous crops is coffee, as it is considered one of the best types of coffee in Saudi Arabia. Contrary to the general belief, the Fifa Mountains are not only a dazzling geographical scene, these mountains embrace the indigenous people of the region whose houses, built on the cliffs of the Fifa Mountains, can be seen along the way up to the peaks. When you visit these mountains, you will notice that the road doesn't reach some of the houses, and their residents use innovative techniques to transport items to and from their homes, through large ropes and baskets.
