British tour operator and airline Jet2 has decided to extend the season in Bodrum because of high demand.
British tour operator and airline Jet2 and Jet2 Holidays will continue to bring tourists to Bodrum until mid-November, with flights added from 4 airports in England. Usually, the flights were planned to end at the beginning of November. Jet2 and Jet2 Holidays will operate additional flights to Bodrum from Birmingham, Leeds, Bradford Manchester, and Stansted claimed they were the only airlines flying to Bodrum from airports outside London in November. Jet2, which flies to Bodrum from 11 UK airports, started flights to Bodrum from Belfast International and Liverpool John Lennon Airport this year. Jet2 and Jet2 Holidays CEO Steve Heapy said: "Bodrum has always been a favourite destination for holidaymakers. This summer, Bodrum has seen huge demand from our customers and travel agents, so we are delighted to offer more choices to independent travel agents and our customers."
The additional flights that Jet2 has made available for sale as of August 13 are as follows:
- Two flights from Birmingham 6-13 November.
- Two flights from Leeds, Bradford, 6-13 November.
- Three flights from Manchester 5-17 November
- Three flights from Stansted- 4-17 November.
