S.V.N. Reddy elected President as association announces new leadership team at its National Congress in Coimbatore.
SKAL International India has announced its new national leadership team for the 2026-27 term, with S.V.N. Reddy of Chennai elected as President during the organisation’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) in Coimbatore.
The AGM was held on August 14, 2026, as part of the SKAL International India National Congress 2026. The meeting brought together SKAL members from across the country and included discussions on the organisation’s activities and priorities for the upcoming year.
Alongside Reddy, Krishna Gopalan of Pune has been elected Vice President 1, while Sunil Bahadur Satyawakta of Lucknow will serve as National Secretary. The remaining positions on the board were filled unopposed.

Focus on Tourism Industry Collaboration
The new national board is expected to work to strengthen SKAL International India’s network and encourage closer cooperation among professionals across the tourism and hospitality sectors.
The organisation will also focus on promoting friendship, fellowship and cooperation among its members, while supporting tourism promotion and strengthening professional relationships within the industry.
The leadership transition comes as SKAL International India continues to expand its presence across the country and provide a platform for tourism and hospitality professionals to connect, collaborate and share industry perspectives.
With the new board in place, the association will now move into its 2026-27 term with an emphasis on strengthening its national network and advancing its objectives within India's tourism and hospitality ecosystem.
