Singapore Airlines has announced an SGD45 million investment to overhaul its SilverKris and KrisFlyer Gold lounges at Singapore Changi Airport Terminal 2. The upgrade, which begins on April 15 2025, will be carried out in phases and is expected to conclude by mid-2027. The project aims to expand lounge space by 50 per cent while offering a suite of new features drawn from SIA's flagship Terminal 3 lounge, including more varied dining and redesigned relaxation areas. The announcement reinforces the airline's intention to enhance comfort and convenience for premium and frequent flyers as part of its evolving service strategy.
"This significant investment underscores Singapore Airlines' unwavering commitment to elevating the end-to-end travel experience for our customers," said Yeoh Phee Teik, Senior Vice President of Customer Experience at Singapore Airlines. Building on the success of our Terminal 3 lounges, we are extending our signature hospitality and thoughtfully curated offerings to Terminal 2.
The first-class SilverKris Lounge will be redesigned to include higher ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows, and expanded live cooking stations serving a mix of Singaporean, Asian, and Western dishes. Barista services will complement morning departures, while the self-service buffet will mirror the expanded choices in Terminal 3.
