Delhi International Airport Limited has introduced Family@DEL, a first-of-its-kind initiative designed to simplify and enhance the airport experience for families. Available across all terminals for domestic departures, the programme offers dedicated entry agents, check-in counters, priority security seating, buggy assistance, and on-ground family support.
GMR AERO-led Delhi International Airport Limited has launched Family@DEL, a passenger-focused initiative designed to make travel easier, more comfortable and stress-free for families departing from Delhi Airport. The programme has been implemented across Terminals 1, 2 and 3 domestic departures.
Under Family@DEL, families can access dedicated terminal entry gates, exclusive family check-in counters, priority security lanes and designated seating areas within the food country offering curated kids' menus. The initiative also provides buggy assistance to passengers requiring additional support up to the boarding gates.
Facilities include complimentary baby strollers, private baby care rooms, PRM-friendly washrooms and assistance from specially trained Family Assistance Buddies who guide passengers through check-in, security and boarding.
The programme is curated for families travelling with infants, elderly passengers or those with restricted mobility, ensuring an inclusive and smooth airport experience.
