Thomas Cook India and SOTC Travel have introduced TravSure, a holistic safety program for international group travellers. The initiative provides complimentary rescheduling, refunds in emergencies and 24/7 customer assistance. TravSure addresses gaps in the local insurance policies that cover disruptions from war, political unrest, and airspace closures, offering reassurance to travellers facing unexpected situations abroad.
Thomas Cook Limited and its group company, SOTC Travel, have recently launched TravSure. This is a dedicated travel protection programme offering robust financial and logistical support to travellers during emergencies, such as war, political unrest, or natural disasters. TravSure offers the flexibility to reschedule or cancel trips at no additional charge in the event of an emergency.
TravSure goes beyond by providing coverage for trip curtailments and disruptions caused by airspace closures or political instability. Flights booked through Thomas Cook India or SOTC Travel, the programme also covers costs related to hotel stays and flight changes due to such emergencies.
A key feature includes a coverage limit of up to USD 1500 per person for air and land expenses linked to international group travel disruptions. Rajeev Kale, President and Country Head- Holidays MICE Visa Thomas Cook India Limited, said, “With TravSure, we have taken a pioneering step to ensure that our travellers feel protected and supported at every stage of their journey.
