Dusit International Strengthens Southern Thailand Presence With New ASAI Hotels

Thai hospitality company Dusit International has announced the expansion of its lifestyle-focused ASAI Hotels portfolio by signing hotel management agreements for two new properties in Southern Thailand—ASAI Hat Yai and ASAI Patong Phuket. The developments are scheduled to welcome guests in 2028 and 2029, respectively, reinforcing the brand's growth strategy in high-demand leisure destinations.

Bangkok: The upcoming hotels are designed to cater to modern travellers seeking authentic local experiences, cultural immersion, and convenient access to popular attractions. The expansion reflects Dusit's long-term vision of strengthening the ASAI brand in destinations celebrated for their vibrant communities, rich culinary scenes, and increasing tourism demand.

Located in one of Southern Thailand's major commercial and tourism hubs, ASAI Hat Yai will provide visitors with easy access to the city's shopping districts, local markets, and regional transportation links. Meanwhile, ASAI Patong Phuket will be positioned close to Patong Beach, allowing guests to explore Phuket's renowned nightlife, beaches, and entertainment offerings.

ASAI Hotels focuses on offering compact yet thoughtfully designed accommodations complemented by spacious communal areas that encourage social interaction and local engagement. The brand emphasises neighbourhood experiences by connecting guests with local food, culture, and community-driven activities.

The expansion also aligns with Dusit International's broader international growth plans. Following these Thailand developments, the company is preparing to introduce the ASAI brand in Malaysia later this year, with additional projects planned in the Philippines over the next few years.

With the addition of the Hat Yai and Phuket properties, Dusit International continues to strengthen its hospitality footprint while responding to the growing demand for experience-driven lifestyle hotels across Asia.
