A red alert has been declared for the next two days due to the possibility of heavy rainfall in the districts of Uttara Kannada, Udupi, Dakshina Kannada, Shivamogga, Chikkamagaluru, and Kodagu.
The red alert is in effect for these districts on July 16 and 17. A yellow warning has been announced for the districts of Belagavi, Dharwad, Kalaburagi and Yadgir, indicating the likelihood of heavy rainfall until July 17. In Bengaluru, there is a high probability of rain until July 16. On Sunday, continuous wind speeds are expected to reach 40-50 km/h in Uttara Kannada, Dakshina Kannada and Udupi coastal districts.
