Global hospitality distribution technology market leaders STAAH has announced their forecast of what will be deemed the ‘Top 10 Hotel Booking Channels in India for 2025.’ The forecast was made based on its partner hotels in India between January to December 2025.
According to the report, GoMMT remains the most influential booking platform in India, continuing to lead the list thanks to its wide hotel inventory, competitive pricing and strong appeal to both business and leisure travellers.
Following GoMMT in the rankings are Agoda in second place and Booking.com in third — both international online travel agencies (OTAs) that continue to attract large booking volumes through their global reach, mobile-friendly platforms and loyalty incentives.
Cleartrip has climbed up to fourth place, supported by its combination of flight and hotel offerings that appeal to price-sensitive travellers.
In the top five also is STAAH’s own direct booking tool, SwiftBook, which reflects a broader trend of hotels investing in commission-free direct booking channels to retain brand control and improve profit margins.
As for the remaining platforms which completed the top 10 list, there is a trend towards fresh entrants such as Travelguru, EaseMyTrip, and HyperGuest. This also underscores the innovative and diversified trend of online travel companies in the country.
STAAH India’s National Sales Head told industry observers that 2025 saw a surge in both domestic and international travel, with travellers increasingly relying on digital platforms for the entire booking journey. OTAs still play a key role in driving visibility and high-intent demand for hotels, while direct channels are gaining importance as properties seek to build customer loyalty and optimise revenue.
The ranking underscores how hotel booking behaviour in India is evolving, driven by changing traveller preferences, stronger digital adoption and ongoing growth in the country’s travel market.
