Saudi -Arabia now lets citizens and residents of the Gulf perform Umrah throughout the year. Pilgrims to UAE, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman and Qatar can come in at any time. They can apply for permission through the Nusuk app. Many visa options are available. This step is consistent with the Saudi Vision 2030. The purpose is to promote religious and cultural tourism.
Saudi -Arabia has officially revealed this year's access to Gulf citizens and residents to demonstrate Umrah, which allows pilgrims from UAE, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman and Qatar to enter the state at any time.
There are many visa options available.
Residents of GCC nations can perform IMRA using different visa types, including-
- Umrah visas via the Nusuk platform
- Transit visa through partnerships with Saudi Airlines and flynas
- Tourist visas are issued through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs portal
- This expansion provides more flexibility and easier access for Gulf-based pilgrims who wish to undertake the spiritual journey outside the traditional Hajj season.
Part of the Saudi Vision 2030 Goals
By reducing travel restrictions related to Umrah, the government actively encourages spiritual tourism as an important component of its economic diversification work beyond oil. The Ministry emphasized that more than 19,000 international Umrah in a number reported by the Saudi press agency had given a visa since the end of the Haj season recently.
Understanding Umrah’s Significance
Unlike Hajj, which occurs during a particular period in the Islamic calendar and is mandatory for qualified Muslims once in their lives, Umrah is a non-respectful pilgrimage that can be done at any time of the year. Although less and less composed, it has deep spiritual significance and is a deep -funded work for Muslims around the world.
