To implement cutting-edge agentic AI solutions throughout its airports, Adani Airport Holdings Limited (AAHL) has announced a significant technical agreement with AIONOS, an AI firm under InterGlobe Enterprises. The collaboration aims to significantly improve passenger service, enhance operational efficiency, and support Adani’s larger digital transformation strategy.
Under the agreement, Adani Airports will integrate AIONOS’s IntelliMate platform—a multilingual, AI-driven concierge system—into its helpdesk and customer support operations. Passengers will receive real-time information on flight schedules, gate updates, baggage locations, airport directions, and facility data from this system, which will be accessible 24/7 via voice, online, chat, and mobile. Due of the platform's compatibility for several Indian languages, a greater variety of travelers can access and utilize its services.
According to Adani Airports, the introduction of AI will reduce passenger wait times and ease pressure on physical helpdesks, allowing staff to focus on more complex tasks. The company believes the move will help elevate the overall airport experience by delivering faster, more personalised assistance to travellers.
Leaders from both organisations highlighted the importance of the partnership. The partnership, according to AAHL CEO Arun Bansal is great step to provide passengers with smooth and customized travel experiences, demonstrating the company's dedication to a digital-first strategy. According to C.P. Gurnani, co-founder of AIONOS, the collaboration is in keeping with their goal of utilizing AI to improve customer happiness and optimize operational procedures.
This project complements Adani's current digital platforms, such as aviio, Adani OneApp, and the Airport-in-a-Box system, and is a part of the company's larger effort to create a future-ready airport ecosystem. It is anticipated that the use of agentic AI will raise the bar for smart airport services in India.
