Emmvee Group has launched Roamiyo, a travel app designed to help users manage multiple stages of a trip, from itinerary planning and group coordination to making changes while travelling.
New Delhi: The app was tested through a private beta involving more than 2,000 users. According to the company, the beta recorded a 0% uninstall rate. Roamiyo is targeting 600,000 downloads within its first three months and more than 1 million downloads in its first year across its launch markets.
The platform brings together three key features Personalised Itinerary Planning, Group Mode and Trip Mode to cover different aspects of the travel journey.
With Personalised Itinerary Planning, users can create day-by-day travel plans based on their destination, travel dates, budget, number of travellers and type of trip. The app can suggest attractions, activities, restaurants, transport options, and travel times, while users can edit or regenerate itineraries as their preferences change.
Group Mode is designed for families, friends and colleagues travelling together. It provides shared itinerary planning, group chats, polls, live location sharing, expense splitting, travel-document storage, task lists and interactive maps.
Once travellers are on the move, Trip Mode allows them to access and modify their itineraries. Users can rearrange activities, update schedules and add new destinations. The feature also brings together navigation, currency conversion, language translation, weather updates, nearby recommendations and booking information.
Roamiyo will operate on a subscription-based model, with new users receiving a 30-day free trial. The company said its immediate priorities include increasing user adoption, refining the product and developing a base of recurring users.
“Roamiyo was born from a frustration I experienced personally—the need to move constantly between different apps while planning and managing a trip,” said Sumanth Donthi, Director, Emmvee Technologies Private Limited (ETPL). He added that the company aims to create a travel companion that helps users plan confidently, stay connected and adapt their plans during a journey.
Roamiyo, developed by Emmvee Technologies Pvt. Ltd., is available for iOS and Android users through the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
