Ananta Spa & Resort Jaipur Adds Helicopter Arrivals To Destination Wedding Experiences

Ananta Spa & Resort Jaipur Adds Helicopter Arrivals To Destination Wedding Experiences

Ananta Spa & Resort Jaipur has expanded its destination wedding offering by introducing helicopter arrivals for wedding couples, adding an aerial element to celebrations at the property.

Jaipur: Managed by Black Rock Hotels & Resorts, the 40-acre resort features 351 keys and extensive indoor and outdoor event spaces. The new offering lets couples include a helicopter arrival in their wedding itinerary, making their entrance an integral part of the overall celebration.

Destination weddings become more experience-driven

The move comes amid growing demand for personalised experiences in India’s luxury wedding market. Couples and families are increasingly seeking celebrations that go beyond traditional décor and hospitality, with greater emphasis on guest activities, entertainment, ceremonies and memorable arrivals.

This shift is also influencing destination wedding venues, with resorts increasingly positioning themselves as complete celebration destinations rather than simply accommodation and event spaces. Properties are being expected to deliver customised experiences across multi-day wedding programmes.

Ravindra Pratap Singh, Chairman of Ravi Surya Group and owner of Ananta Spa & Resort Jaipur, said families are increasingly looking for wedding experiences that reflect their individual preferences and create lasting memories for guests. He added that the scale of the Jaipur property enables the resort to work with families across different aspects of the celebration, from arrivals and ceremonies to experiences throughout the stay.

Extensive infrastructure for weddings and MICE

Ananta Spa & Resort Jaipur has identified destination weddings and MICE as key business segments. The resort has 12 event venues, comprising indoor banquet spaces and large outdoor areas.

One of its prominent venues is the 70,000 sq. ft. Suijin Lawn. The property also features a dedicated 16-pillared, Vastu-compliant ceremonial Pagoda, designed to host traditional wedding rituals such as ghudchadi, baraat and jaimala.

The resort offers accommodation across five categories, alongside wellness and leisure facilities, landscaped areas and multiple dining options. This infrastructure allows couples and their guests to organise multi-day wedding celebrations largely within the property.

Jaipur strengthens its destination wedding appeal

With Jaipur continuing to attract luxury destination weddings, the latest offering reflects the broader shift towards experience-led celebrations. For hospitality operators, personalisation is increasingly becoming a key differentiator as couples look for distinctive elements that can make their wedding celebrations more memorable.

Black Rock Hotels & Resorts expects this focus on customised experiences to play a growing role in the way luxury wedding resorts plan and deliver destination celebrations.
