IndiGo Begins Operations At Noida International Airport

Noida, June 2026: IndiGo has officially launched commercial flight operations from Noida International Airport (NIA), marking a major milestone in the expansion of air travel across the National Capital Region (NCR). With this launch, the airline becomes the first carrier to operate scheduled passenger services from the newly opened airport in Jewar.

The new operations significantly enhance regional connectivity, allowing travelers from western Uttar Pradesh and the NCR to access a growing domestic network without relying solely on Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport. Initially, IndiGo will connect Noida International Airport with more than 16 destinations across India, including major metropolitan cities and important Tier-2 and Tier-3 locations.

By adding Noida International Airport to its network, IndiGo now operates from all three airports serving the NCR—Delhi, Hindon, and Noida—offering passengers greater flexibility and more travel options. The move reflects the airline's strategy to support India's rapidly growing aviation sector while improving accessibility for travelers across northern India.

The airport is strategically located along the Yamuna Expressway and is expected to emerge as a major aviation gateway for western Uttar Pradesh. During its initial phase, the airport will gradually expand flight frequencies and destinations as passenger demand increases.
