IndiGo has strengthened its international operations by introducing a second Airbus A321XLR aircraft on the Delhi–Istanbul route, effective from April 19, 2026. The move reflects the airline’s ongoing strategy to expand long-haul connectivity and enhance passenger experience on key global routes.
The newly deployed aircraft features a dual-class cabin configuration designed to offer greater comfort and improved travel flexibility. Passengers can also enjoy upgraded in-flight services along with a modern digital entertainment system, enhancing the overall onboard journey.
The Delhi–Istanbul sector holds strategic importance for IndiGo, as it allows travellers seamless onward connections to more than 50 international destinations through the airline’s codeshare partnership with Turkish Airlines.
With the addition of another A321XLR aircraft, IndiGo aims to boost capacity, strengthen global accessibility, and support its broader international expansion plans while catering to rising demand for international travel.
