Heritage and spiritual cities like Jaipur, Rishikesh, Varanasi, and Kolkata also attract young travellers seeking a mix of culture and local experiences.
On the international front, Thailand, Japan, and European cities such as Paris, Rome, and Amsterdam are among the top picks. Domestically, young travellers are also looking for design-focused stays and nature-inspired accommodations that offer comfort with authenticity.
This shift marks a generational change in how Indians view travel. For Gen Z, vacations are no longer just about leisure—they represent a blend of self-expression, cultural exploration, and lifestyle discovery.
