Direct Travel Inc. has acquired ATPI, its long-term strategic partner, creating a combined travel management company with more than $6 billion in annual travel volume. The move strengthens the group's position in global corporate travel, leisure, events and specialised sectors while accelerating the international rollout of Direct Travel’s Avenir Travel Edition platform.

The merged organisation will manage over USD 6 billion in annual travel spend and enhance offerings across corporate, leisure, events and specialised industries.
ATPI, one of the most established international travel and event management companies. It has been a strategic collaborator with Direct Travel for many years. This acquisition represents a natural extension of that partnership, which is aimed at delivering greater scale, technology innovation, and improved service for multinational clients.
The deal also supports the global rollout of Avenir Travel Edition, Direct Travel’s next-generation platform. The solution is designed to improve the traveller experience, provide travel managers with real-time insights and create new value propositions for suppliers.
