Hospitality company Moustache Group of Hotels is set to open a new luxury resort under its upscale sub-brand Luxuria by Moustache in Jawai, Rajasthan — marking the first of 25 new properties the firm plans to roll out by 2027.
Located in Jawai, a region known for its unique landscape and leopard-human coexistence, the new resort aims to offer an experiential blend of safari, wellness and heritage hospitality. The estate will include nine boutique cottages, accommodate roughly 25 guests at a time, and feature curated safaris, local culinary journeys and wellness-oriented stays.
Currently, Moustache Group operates 33 properties across 11 Indian states, with five under its Luxuria vertical — the company’s highest-earning segment.
The expansion into Jawai and the broader plan for 25 new openings positions the company to capture increasing demand in India’s luxury hospitality market, which is projected to grow significantly in the coming years.
Co-founder and Director Abhishek Khandelwal said the choice of Jawai reflects a desire to celebrate heritage, nature and local community in design and hospitality. He noted that unlike many parks, Jawai is a “living landscape where humans and leopards coexist in harmony,” making it an ideal setting for an immersive, eco-luxury resort.
Indian hospitality brands are slowly moving away from budget and mid-range hotels and focusing more on premium, experience-based stays in less-explored places. With this new expansion, Moustache hopes to grow its revenue further and increase its presence across more regions by 2027.
