The revamped lounge reflects the airline’s evolving strategy to enhance the ground experience for Upper Class passengers by combining relaxation, work efficiency, and entertainment in a single integrated space. The redesign marks the first phase of a broader refurbishment programme aimed at modernising one of aviation’s most iconic airport lounges.
A major highlight of the new Clubhouse is its strong emphasis on passenger wellbeing. Guests can now access immersive wellness experiences, including self-guided meditation sessions inside innovative Somadomes private pods that use light therapy, sound healing, and guided meditation to help travellers reset before departure. In addition, a partnership with Secret Spa offers express treatments, including massages, facials, and beauty services, allowing passengers to relax and refresh before boarding.
Productivity has also been prioritised through newly designed studio-style work pods inspired by recording spaces. These areas offer privacy, integrated charging facilities, and quiet environments tailored for business travellers who need a focused workspace at the airport. Expanded seating zones and redesigned gallery areas now offer improved runway views while maintaining a calm and contemporary atmosphere.
Entertainment features have also been upgraded, with a reimagined cinema space designed to resemble a private members’ screening room. Enhanced acoustics, comfortable seating, and modern lighting create an immersive environment where passengers can unwind before flights.
According to the airline’s leadership, the renovation represents a long-term investment in innovation and customer experience, blending distinctive design with wellness-led travel concepts. The refreshed Clubhouse also introduces exclusive VIP areas, such as the Royal Box, and hints at future enhancements, including improved outdoor plane-spotting areas and additional experiential upgrades.
