Intercity travel platform Zingbus has reported a fivefold increase in bookings for its Valley of Flowers and Hemkund Sahib itinerary over the past year, signalling growing demand for curated Himalayan travel experiences. The company is now expanding its Chyll by Zingbus platform to Leh through the Delhi-Manali-Leh corridor.
New Delhi: Chyll by Zingbus combines transportation, accommodation, meals, local transfers and destination experiences into integrated travel itineraries. The model is aimed at simplifying travel to remote destinations, where travellers often have to arrange multiple transport and stay options separately.
The strong booking growth comes during the annual Valley of Flowers blooming season, which attracts travellers with its alpine landscapes, waterfalls and mountain scenery. The Valley of Flowers National Park is also recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Seven-Day Himalayan Itinerary
The Valley of Flowers and Hemkund Sahib package is a seven-day, six-night journey starting from Delhi. Travellers take an overnight Zingbus service to Rishikesh before continuing by road towards Govindghat and Ghangaria, which serve as key bases for the treks.
The itinerary covers the Valley of Flowers National Park and Hemkund Sahib, located at an altitude of around 15,200 feet. The package includes accommodation, meals, local transfers and return travel to Delhi, with prices starting at ₹13,499 per traveller.
Chyll Expands Towards Leh
Following the strong response to its Himalayan itinerary, Zingbus is extending the Chyll travel model to the Delhi-Manali-Leh route. The company aims to make high-interest but logistically challenging destinations more accessible by bringing intercity road transport and curated destination experiences together.
According to Prashant Kumar, Co-founder and CEO of Zingbus, the fivefold growth indicates that demand for Himalayan travel could be significantly higher when planning and logistical challenges are reduced.
The company’s latest expansion reflects its broader strategy of moving beyond conventional bus travel and offering end-to-end journeys that combine transportation with stays and experiences.
