The Ajman Department of Tourism Development will embark on a series of roadshows in Delhi, Pune, and Kolkata from September 15 to 19, 2025. Led by Director General Mahmood Khaleel Alhashmi, the event showcased Ajman's hospitality, cultural heritage and family-friendly appeal while strengthening ties with India's trade partners. India remains one of Ajman's top source markets for inbound tourism.
The Ajman Department of Tourism Development has completed a multi-city networking initiative in India, reinforcing its commitment to one of its most important source markets. Roadshows held in Delhi, Pune, and Kolkata on September 15, 17, and 19, 2025, brought together leading travel agents, tour operators, and media representatives. Industry stakeholders to highlight Ajman's position as a distinctive tourism destination in the UAE.
The delegation was led by H.E. Mahmood Khaleel Alhashmi, Director General of ADTD, accompanied by senior officials, including Mr Abdulaziz AlMahri, Director of the Legal Affairs Office, Abdala Gohar, Project Management and Development Advisor, and Mr Amr Aly Morsy, Tourism Development and Marketing Expert. The team presented Ajman's diverse tourism offering, ranging from pristine beaches and cultural landmarks to luxury hospitality and family-friendly attractions.
Speaking during the roadshows, HE Mahmood Khaleel Alhashmi said: "Over the years, India has remained one of Ajman's top source markets with Indian arrivals playing a significant role in our tourism growth.
