Ajman’s Department of Tourism, Culture & Media has introduced a new incentive programme for Indian travel trade partners as the emirate looks to strengthen its presence in the Indian market and increase visitor arrivals.
The Ajman Partner Tourism Growth Incentive Programme will run from September 15 to December 1, 2026. Under the initiative, eligible Indian travel agents will receive monetary incentives for confirmed passenger bookings to Ajman, with the scheme applicable to bookings of one to 49 passengers.
The programme was announced during Ajman’s India roadshow, which covered Mumbai, Chennai and Hyderabad. The three-city initiative brought together travel agents, tour operators and other tourism stakeholders through B2B meetings and destination presentations aimed at strengthening commercial ties and increasing awareness of Ajman among Indian travel professionals.
Focus on Indian travel trade
The incentive scheme is designed to encourage Indian travel agents to actively promote Ajman, include the emirate in UAE itineraries and generate additional bookings during the campaign period.
Mahmood Khaleel Alhashmi, Director General, Department of Tourism, Culture & Media, Ajman, said India remains an important source market for the emirate. He highlighted the role of stronger trade partnerships, destination knowledge and commercial incentives in converting market interest into sustained visitor growth.
The department's engagement with Indian travel partners also aims to give agents greater familiarity with Ajman’s tourism proposition and encourage the development of travel programmes suited to Indian visitors.
Neeti Sharma, Director, Intrepid Marketing & Communications, said Indian travellers are increasingly looking beyond conventional UAE holidays for distinctive experiences. She noted that Ajman’s combination of culture, heritage, leisure, nature, family experiences and hospitality positions it to benefit from this evolving demand.
Strengthening Ajman’s tourism proposition
The incentive programme forms part of Ajman’s broader tourism development strategy under Ajman Vision 2030, which seeks to strengthen the emirate’s position as an accessible and competitive tourism destination.
Ajman is expanding its tourism offering across leisure, nature, family tourism, hospitality and business events while working to deepen relationships with international travel trade partners.
The emirate’s India strategy combines direct B2B engagement, destination promotion and performance-linked trade incentives. The objective is to increase Ajman’s visibility among Indian travel professionals, encourage greater inclusion of the destination in UAE holiday programmes and build sustained demand from the market.
With the incentive programme running through the key travel period until December 1, Ajman is seeking to convert growing awareness among Indian travellers into bookings and stronger visitor flows, while building longer-term partnerships with the Indian travel trade.
