Thomas Cook India, SOTC Partner With Abu Dhabi Tourism For Complimentary UAE Visas

Thomas Cook India and its group company, SOTC Travel, have joined hands with the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi) under a limited-period Visa Subsidy Programme aimed at encouraging more Indian travellers to visit the emirate.

New Delhi: Under the initiative, eligible Indian customers booking leisure holiday packages through Thomas Cook India or SOTC Travel can receive a complimentary UAE entry visa. The offer applies to qualifying bookings that include a minimum three-night continuous hotel stay in Abu Dhabi.

The visa subsidy is available for eligible bookings made between August 1 and October 31, 2026, with travel also required to be completed within the specified programme period. The offer remains subject to applicable terms and conditions.

Through the programme, DCT Abu Dhabi will cover the full cost of the UAE entry visa for qualifying bookings, reducing an additional travel expense for Indian holidaymakers.

The partnership is part of Abu Dhabi's broader efforts to strengthen its position in the Indian outbound travel market. The emirate is promoting a diverse portfolio of experiences, including its cultural attractions, family entertainment, adventure activities, luxury hospitality and heritage offerings.

Thomas Cook India said its long-standing association with Abu Dhabi has helped the company develop holiday experiences for Indian travellers. The company views the visa subsidy as an additional value proposition for customers considering an Abu Dhabi holiday.

SOTC Travel also highlighted the growing demand among Indian travellers for holidays that combine experiences with value, with the visa benefit expected to make eligible Abu Dhabi packages more attractive.

India remains an important international source market for Abu Dhabi. By working with travel companies such as Thomas Cook India and SOTC Travel, DCT Abu Dhabi aims to make destination planning more accessible while encouraging greater visitor movement from India.

The initiative is expected to support demand for Abu Dhabi holidays during the programme period and further strengthen the destination's engagement with India's growing outbound travel market.
