New restaurants
The Al Ghurair Centre is preparing to alter Deira’s dining scenery by introducing Flayva, an eagerly awaited international ‘street food’ hall that will open on February 16. It will showcase 23 innovative homegrown concepts.
The forthcoming list of venues comprises the following:
- Allo Beirut, which serves Lebanese cuisine
- Bao Friends, a contemporary bao joint that incorporates Asian and Arab influences
- House of Curry, which provides an authentic Indian dining experience
- Warung Bandung, which offers traditional Indonesian fare
- Vietnamese Snack Food Cafe and Little Oriental Dining, which offers delectable fusions of Asian cuisines
- Salvis Junior, Chibog Restaurant, and Bacolod Inasal BBQ offer delectable Filipino fare.
- Tako Ichiban House, a Japanese restaurant,
- Uzbeki Cuisine for an authentic taste of Uzbekistan.
- Clucks for a fried chicken food fest
- Siam Thai Food offers authentic Eastern flavours.
- Hubboba Tea Café is an Emirati-owned Boba tea establishment and Taro is by BaoFriends.
Flayva will be open from
- Sunday to Thursday: 10 A.M. to 11 P.M.
- On Fridays and Saturdays: 10 A.M. to 1 A.M.
Talented French chef Jean Imbert is infusing The Lana with the Mediterranean seaside through two new concepts: Riviera, a contemporary venue inspired by Chef Jean's travels along the breathtaking Mediterranean coastline, and High Society, a destination rooftop lounge situated on the highest level of The Lana that features opulent poolside lounging. The venue offers indoor and outdoor dining with a terrace overseeing the water.

Providing Pan-Asian fare, Wok & Co is introducing the Wok & Co Express food truck. It began on February 5, the food truck will be conveniently parked outside the Wok & Co terrace.

Drinkit, a digital coffee establishment, inaugurated its second location in Building 1 of Emaar Square. Guests can pre-order the beverages in advance through digital kiosks or the Drinkit app en route to the coffee establishment.
