They will compete in football, cricket, and volleyball tournaments, among other activities.
The UAE government treats the country's workers to a sports fest and numerous Eid Al Adha holiday events.
During the three-day event organised by the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (Mohre) in collaboration with other entities, two cars, smartphones, travel tickets, and various gifts will be given away.
Workers will participate in football, volleyball, cricket matches, and other activities.
According to Mohre, the aim is to show the government's appreciation for workers who have been essential partners in building the UAE's success story.
In addition to the entertainment events, workshops will educate workers about their rights, duties, and the country's labour laws and policies.
These leisure activities are part of broader efforts to enhance workers' welfare, including improving accommodation standards, wages, and legislation guaranteeing workers' rights and safety.
Starting Saturday, June 15, the UAE's Midday work ban will be in effect until September 15. Additionally, around 6000 rest stations will be established for delivery riders.
