Tracker to Be Implemented on Vehicles Needing Security Protection
A significant road security initiative was announced on Tuesday in Ras Al Khaimah, introducing a new system to monitor certain vehicles.
According to Maj-Gen Ali Abdullah bin Alwan Al Nuaimi, Commander-in-Chief of the Ras Al Khaimah Police, this 'vehicle tracking system' aims to enhance crime prevention in the emirate. The system will be applied to vehicles requiring security protection and will be accessible electronically.
The initiative, launched in partnership with the Public Resources Authority and overseen by the Vehicles and Drivers Licensing Department, leverages cutting-edge technologies.
Brig-Gen Dr Muhammad Abdul Rahman Al Ahmad, director of the Electronic Services and Communications Department at Ras Al Khaimah Police, stated that the project would be a "distinctive addition" to the security measures of the Ras Al Khaimah Police.
