UAE: Zero violent crimes reported in this emirate in the first quarter of the year

Officers and staff have been praised for their collaborative efforts in implementing security initiatives.

No disturbing or violent crime has been committed in Ajman's Al Nuaimiya Area in the first quarter of the year, the Ajman Police said on Thursday.

Violent or disturbing crimes such as murder, non-negligent manslaughter, rape, robbery, and aggravated assault. These offences are included in the Crime Index, which measures the overall volume and rate of crime reported to law enforcement in a specific area.

Lt. Col. Mohammed Abdullah Bushahab Al Suwaidi, head of Al Nuaimiya Police Station, commended the officers and staff for their collaborative efforts in implementing security initiatives, increasing security awareness programs, and involving the community in enhancing security.

Later, he said that these efforts had reduced the area's crime rate from January to March.
