The resort, situated on a 62-hectare island, will boast 20 restaurants, some overseen by renowned chefs from around the globe.
An executive has confirmed that the gaming area at Ras Al Khaimah's inaugural integrated resort will be conveniently situated and easily accessible to visitors. Despite this, guests can opt out of visiting the gaming area and still partake in the diverse range of experiences offered at the multibillion-dollar property in Al Marjan.
"The gaming area will be centrally located and will have its own dedicated space," stated Michael Weaver, Chief Communications Officer of the resort. "It will be very easily accessible to visitors. However, there will be others who may prefer to explore all the other offerings. So, visiting, enjoying the rooms, restaurants, spa, shopping, and never entering the gaming area will be possible."
Weaver revealed that the resort will feature 20 restaurants, some of which will be led by renowned chefs from various parts of the world. "Each restaurant will have its unique allure," he added.
"We will have international chefs at some of them. With over 20 restaurants and lounges, our focus is to offer a wide variety that caters to the tastes of our international guests. Many restaurants will offer beachside views, allowing guests to enjoy breathtaking sunsets and the serene waters."
Weaver commented on the sidelines of the Arabian Travel Market (ATM) conference in Dubai.
Water Activities and Nightlife
Apart from the gaming centre, Weaver highlighted that the resort would offer many activities. "We will have beach and water-related activities and a nightlife experience incorporating the beach. Right before the hotel is a stunning 3.6-hectare tropical landscape pool experience. So, guests will feel like they are at a luxurious tropical beach resort."
Unlike Any Other
Wynn Resorts Limited (WYNN) recently unveiled new images of the property, its first beachfront resort. Situated on an island extending into the Arabian Gulf, spanning almost 62 hectares, the resort will "capitalize on" the island's natural beauty, according to Weaver.
"Being located right on the Arabian Sea, we will be able to harness all the natural light and water experiences, offering a truly unique resort experience," he remarked. "There will be nothing like it in the world, integrating nature and everything Ras Al Khaimah offers."
The resort, boasting over 1,500 rooms, will feature lavish suites and private rooms. "We will have a range of luxurious estates around the marina," Weaver explained. "We will have the rare opportunity to have a marina adjacent to the resort for those who wish to travel by water."
Scheduled to Open in 2027
Construction of the resort is expected to be completed in 2025, with a public opening slated for 2027. "Currently, we are pouring concrete and constructing each floor," Weaver stated. "We anticipate topping off the building by late 2025. Following this, we will finish the interior, which will be completed by early 2027."
Located in Ras Al Khaimah, the resort's structure is expected to exceed 300 meters upon completion. According to Weaver, unlike anything the UAE has seen, it will serve as an "iconic landmark" for the country.
